Metal Types
MACA offers a wide range of metals for molding your products. You can choose from the following metal types according to your needs:
HI Chrome Iron
High-alloy martensitic white iron is a superior metal that offers abrasion and corrosion resistance for the parts. Its thickness can be adjusted according to your requirements, and it is suitable for heavy-duty parts as it is fully air-hardened.
Gray Iron
Gray iron, or gray cast iron, gets its name from the gray color of the fracture it forms. This is basically due to the presence of flake graphite; these flakes are created while cooling the metal. It is the oldest, most commonly found, and widely used.
Ductile Iron
The graphite within ductile iron occurs as spheroids, so it is also known as nodular cast iron, spheroidal graphite iron, and spheroidal graphite cast iron. The carbon content in the ductile iron is held in the form of nodules.
Steel
Steel is one of the most used metals for construction and other purposes. Be it cars, washing machines, locomotives, refrigerators, ships, or surgical instruments, all are made from steel. The two main components that make steel are iron and carbon.
Stainless Steel
Stainless steel has been around for more than a hundred years. It is an alloy made up of low-carbon steel with the addition of chromium. The properties that make steel stainless steel are owing to the presence of chromium in the alloy.
