Metal Finishing

MACA provides comprehensive metal finishing services to enhance the durability, corrosion resistance, and functionality of components. We offer industrial-grade painting, heat treating, and other surface treatments, all aimed at enhancing the quality and performance of every component we produce.

Capabilities and Equipment

Painting: We provide industrial-grade painting services using refined processes to deliver a uniform and durable finish. This professional approach ensures consistent coverage, strong adhesion, and protection from harsh environments, extending the service life of components.

Heat Treating: Utilizing multiple ovens up to 14’x14’x10’, our heat-treating process provides precise thermal treatments up to 2200 degrees Fahrenheit to improve hardness and wear resistance, enhancing performance for various materials and part sizes. We can fan quench, water quench, and polymer quench.

Advanced Molding and Machining Integration: We use advanced equipment to create accurate and durable molds. Our metal finishing services are integrated with full-service machining capabilities in our facilities, minimizing handling, maintaining tight tolerances, and streamlining production workflows.

Metal Types and Their Applications

MACA offers a wide range of metals for molding and finishing, each selected based on specific performance requirements and applications:

HI Chrome (White) Iron: Ideal for parts that require high abrasion and corrosion resistance, such as those used in mining or heavy equipment. Its adjustable thickness and air-hardening properties suit demanding applications requiring durability.

Cast Iron: Cast iron is known for its excellent fluidity and castability, which provide a cost-effective option. It is used in a variety of components, including pipes, machinery, and structural elements.

Ductile Iron: Suitable for parts that need high strength and ductility, like gears, crankshafts, and other components subjected to impact or stress. This metal type is widely used in the agricultural machinery and power generation sectors.

High-Strength Steel: High-strength steel is used for components that require exceptional strength while maintaining a lighter weight. It is ideal for structural applications in industries like construction and heavy machinery, where both strength and durability are crucial.

Steel: Steel is used for components requiring high strength and versatility. It is suitable for a wide range of applications, including machinery parts and structural elements in various industries.

Stainless Steel: Preferred for applications needing superior corrosion resistance, such as medical instruments, food processing equipment, and components exposed to harsh environments. Stainless steel verifies longevity and reliability, where rust resistance is essential.

Quality Control

In-House Testing: Our in-house metallurgical lab uses spectrometers, hardness testers, tensile testing machines, and other tools to verify that standards and customer specifications are met and that overall integrity is maintained.

ISO Compliance: We adhere to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, with quality checks throughout every production stage to maintain consistency and reliability.
